Preservation techniques have made a lot of progress over the years. Carrots and other products can be stored better and for a longer amount of time. One of the latest advances in this area was implemented in cold store facility HG Frischgemüse GmbH in Titz-Ameln, Germany. By removing the oxygen from the storage area, the quality of the stored carrots remains better and the product can be stored longer.
